It is with immense honor and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2nd International Symposium on GeoAI Data, organized by the GeoAI Data Society of Geology in collaboration with the Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programs in East and Southeast Asia (CCOP). Once again, we are privileged to gather in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, a location that serves as a crossroads of tradition and innovation, to continue advancing the frontier of geoscience and artificial intelligence.

Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, this symposium reflects not only the growing importance of GeoAI but also the accelerating pace at which technology is revolutionizing how we understand, analyze, and manage our planet. As we convene in this second chapter, we embrace the opportunity to deepen our exploration of how AI-driven insights are transforming the acquisition, visualization, and application of geological data.
